"Stuck for an idea for a party theme"

My husband and I are chairpersons of a college foundation fundraiser to be held in December 2010. The Buffalo Philharmonic will be performing and in addition a new art gallery at the college will be finished and available for cocktails prior to concert....I need help with a theme...any suggestions?
