What about a Hollywood theme (see 13th Birthday Party Ideas) or a more classic theme such as Breakfast at Tiffanys.

This would include using black and white as your color scheme and very classy. You could also use diamonds and black roses.

If it's a cocktail party you could also base it around a certain cocktail or as it's in December you could have a Winter wonderland theme.
