Rock Star Guitar Cake

I made a great rock star cake for my daughters 8th Birthday. I came to make the cake as I couldn't find any shop bought cakes that were in keeping with her rock star party idea.

It was a guitar shaped cake which I made from two rectangle shaped cakes, for the arm of the guitar, and then I used two larger rectangles for the actual guitar (side by side). I then cut out the actual shape of the guitar on either side.

I decorated with white roll on icing (some of which I coloured pink with pink food colouring), small edible pink balls, upside down silver chocolate cases and i later added strawberry laces for the strings.
