Cupcake 1st Birthday

Incorporating pink and blue is easy, just have a pastel theme (or dark pink and dark blue, if it's a dark blue dress)! This can be something like cupcakes or candy themes where everything is based around cupcakes and candy.

If it's a dark blue dress you could also go for a rainbow candy theme instead of pastel colors.

You can have all colors, just think Willi Wonkas Chocolate Factory! Have sweet jars with different sweets in that your baby is able to eat and cupcake cases with different foods in not only cakes.

Match the balloons to your colors and you could even have cupcake shaped balloons.

For the cake you could have a tiered cake stand with iced cupcakes on each level matching the colors you have chosen or you could have your babies name spelt out in cupcakes!

Is the dress a plain dress? If there's something on the dress like lace or a pattern you could also incorporate this into the party by having lace doilies!

When you start thinking about it this can be quite a classy theme if you go more towards the Tea Party route. It's even beginning to be a popular theme with Sweet 16s so you know that it's an up and coming theme.
