I also stocked up on plenty of plain plates, cups and cutlery for the adults who would be bringing the children as this helped to bring the cost down.

I bought 4 Hello Kitty tablecloths for the party food table and extra plain pink and white tablecloths to lay out all the place settings on.

When I do parties for younger children I like them to all sit at the table together at a place setting rather than having them sit dotted around the room.

My other daughter, Sapphire, wore a pink and black outfit, more appropriate for her age, and teamed it up with a black Hello Kitty bow headband.

FOOD AND DRINK

For Hello Kitty party angel ideas for food and drink I printed off the birthday party checklist which I then took to my local supermarket and ticked off the items as I went along. Examples of some of the food I bought are:

ENTERTAINMENT

For party entertainment we played a few traditional party games, as we only had the room for two hours. We also had a DJ who let the girls do a bit of Karaoke - which was really cute!

The two main games we played were pass the parcel and musical bumps. We also had a Hello Kitty pinata, which my husband expertly held up! All of the kids had to pull a string each then when it came to the last string we let Emerald pull the pinata open. We then had about 60 kids dive on us for sweets and treats but it was a great Hello Kitty party idea!

FAVORS

As I was making up many favor bags I prepared them the day before by placing them all on my living room floor and then filling each with Hello Kitty party angel ideas for favors.
