Fear Factor Party Ideas To Challenge Your Fears!

fear factor party ideas

Fear Factor party ideas are based around the Fear Factor TV show where contestants have to compete in different stunts that test their fear factor to find the most fearless winner.

The main structure of the party should revolve around three main stunts to help you and your contestants overcome your fears. When choosing stunts make sure that the location of your party, usually your backyard, will be large enough to carry out these stunts in.

Unless you can find a larger location you will need to choose stunts that you will be able to carry out safely in your party venue.

After choosing a party venue you now need to choose a host for your party. This could be you or one of your guests who would rather not participate or it could be an older sibling or parent.

They will have to set up and explain each of the stunts so they will need to be involved in all aspects of planning the party.

So if fear is not a factor for you lets start with inviting some contestants to take you up on your challenges!

INVITATIONS

Fear Factor party ideas for invitations can either be of the bought variety or to totally freak out the future contestants make your own invitations to determine the scary cats even before they turn up!

The Pink Heaven Party Angels most gross Fear Factor invitation idea is to print out a postcard sized invite complete with a logo or some pictures of fearless tasks. Print the words:

"If fear is not a factor for you then become a contestant at (birthday girl)'s birthday party"

You can either write the rest of the party details on the front or back of the invite.

Next sprinkle a few plastic flies and bugs over the invite and place in a laminate pouch. You can even put this invite in a jar full of gummy worms or plastic bugs before delivering for the ultimate Fear Factor party idea!

Remember to state that each guest needs to wear old clothes, as they are going to get covered in slime or whatever, and to get their parents permission for any dangerous stunts. Make sure you get each guest to let you know if they have any allergies so you can then let them safely participate in stunts.

DECORATIONS

Decorations for Fear Factor party ideas are not really needed. All you need is a few props to set the scene for each of your stunts and to make them more realistic.

skulls

You can however add a few touches to knock up the scare factor:

  • Have a tape recording playing screams and other scary sounds
  • Use a 'Beware, Do not enter' sign over the party entrance
  • Skulls and bones of contestants that didn't survive!
  • Keep a few buckets of slime handy to throw over the losers in each round
  • Hang up Fear Factor posters along with birthday banners
  • For Fear Factor party ideas use yellow and black themed party ware

PARTY COSTUMES

Party costumes for Fear Factor Party Ideas need to be based around team colours. Once guests have responded to your invitations you can divide the confirmed contestants up into equal numbered teams.

You won't be able to do this before guests confirm their attendance as if people are unable to attend you will then have un-equal team numbers.

Next you can name each team and give them a team color.

You will then need to inform each contestant of their team name and color and encourage them to wear old clothes, or clothes they don't mind getting dirty, in their teams colors.

THE BIRTHDAY CAKE

The most obvious birthday cake idea for Fear Factor party ideas is a cake with the Fear Factor logo on. You can either buy these from your local bakery or supermarket or create your own using birthday cake recipes.
