About Us - Pink Heaven Party Angels - Who Are We?

Pink Heaven Party Ideas was started by myself, Lisa Rees - The Pink Heaven Party Angel!

I have two daughters Sapphire (aged 10) and Emerald (aged 4) and a step-daughter Carys (aged 6) who are my junior Pink Heaven Party Angels. I also have my husband, Gerwyn, who helped me create this site with his website knowledge, of which I have virtually none!

For my eldest daughters 1st birthday I threw her a huge Teletubbies party, complete with around 40 guests, loads of food and a puppet show. Even though she slept most of the way through it my addiction to throwing parties had begun!

Each year I wanted to over impress by throwing the best and most uniquely creative birthday parties. But then, not long after Sapphire started school and started bringing friends home I found even more excuses to throw parties - Holiday parties! I also helped out some of her friends mothers to plan their girls parties.

Not that I'm against boys, I have four gorgeous nephews, but I have a thing for all things pink and girly! Well, not just a thing, it's more of an obsession - with three girls to contend with how can you not!

After looking after my youngest daughter until she started school I was now faced with this big void in my day. When the kids were at school I did all the usual chores but I didn't want to be just wasting days away.

My way of thinking was that I needed something else to occupy my time and brain! So I looked into work at home ideas, to see if I could earn from this little spare time I had. But most seemed like scams.

So with that out of the way I started to think about something that I would really like to do and that I could work towards. Party planning was my first thought, a hobby I could turn into a business. But not only had I no idea where to start, I had no money behind me to get started.

Whilst researching online I came across hundreds of party websites which gave me my own idea. I could share my party ideas with others through my own website. Not knowing anything about websites I carried out some more research and came across Site Build It and I haven't looked back since.

From not knowing anything about creating a website I have developed Pink-Heaven-Party-Ideas.com and I'm loving every minute and, as you can see, getting the whole family involved! My eldest daughter has even contributed to a lot of my pages giving a kids point of view as well as my own.

The bonus is I'm also making my own money, over £100 a month through affiate sales and ads, something I never even knew existed! I have also recently started another Pink Heaven website - www.pink-heaven-gift-ideas.co.uk, where I sell my own line of personalized chocolates and I have sold nearly £500 worth in the last month!!
